Dr. Marie Therese Sangy is a dynamic professional with over two decades of experience encompassing healthcare, organizational psychology, and business development. Currently pursuing a PhD in Research at King’s College London, she combines evidence-based insights with hands-on leadership to drive operational excellence and strategic growth.

In her dual roles as Chief Operations Officer and Business Development Manager at Nusail Engineering Consultancy Ltd, Dr. Sangy oversees the company’s operational framework while spearheading initiatives to expand its market presence. She formulates and implements strategic plans that balance efficiency, scalability, and compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards. By identifying new business opportunities, cultivating client relationships, and refining service offerings, she has contributed significantly to Nusail’s evolving success in both the UK and international markets.

Before assuming her current executive positions, Dr. Sangy served as an Organisational Psychologist at Nusail Engineering Consultancy in Oman from 2009 to 2018. In this role, she led key organizational development strategies—such as recruitment, conflict management, and employee counseling—to foster a high-performing and cohesive workplace culture. Her insights in organizational psychology were instrumental in aligning team structures, enhancing employee satisfaction, and improving project outcomes.

Dr. Sangy’s background in healthcare is equally robust. From 2005 to 2009, she served as a Senior Clinical Teacher at the Oman Nursing Institute, where she guided nursing students in clinical competencies and mental health practices. She also played a vital role in curriculum development, contributed to national and international conferences, and enriched the academic environment through lectures and research initiatives.

A prolific researcher, Dr. Sangy has published peer-reviewed articles in esteemed journals such as Midwifery and The Nursing Journal of India. Her doctoral research examines women’s attitudes and beliefs toward midwife-led care in India, blending quantitative and qualitative methodologies to inform healthcare policy and practice. In addition, her MRes dissertation delved into breech birth competencies among newly qualified maternity care professionals, further underscoring her commitment to advancing the quality of maternal and neonatal care.
